Method # 7 Bookmarking
Bookmarking is something that would be very useful to the libraries. Library staff will find using social bookmarking sites a new search enhancement tool. Social Bookmarking allows users to record addresses of popular websites. The sharing of this information elevates sites beyond being bookmarks, but into a discovery of information services. Bookmarking allows users to sort the data into different categories and that would be a fast and easy way to access the resources the library needs. Libraries should promote this technology, and Library staff should become skilled users. These services have existed for a long time and resources in a library is enabled and enhanced by how its being used by the user.
